In Atlanta, I gave a seminar on ‘comfort women’, Imperial Japanese military sex slavery before and during WWII. This talk was arranged by the change maker extraordinaire & venture philanthropist Ross Mason of HINRI and the Atlanta ‘Comfort Women’ Memorial Task Force in March 2017.

I met survivors over a period of 10 years and interviewed former Japanese soldiers, activists in Asia including Japanese people working for historical truth and reconciliation, lawyers, NGO workers and academics working for justice for this Japanese military sex slavery issue that is still an open wound of history.
